In March 2019 Ashley Heath of POP Magazine asked Wolfgang and me if we wanted to collaborate on a story for the upcoming Fall Issue, talking about friendship and being together, shared lives and experiences.

We went through photos and images , and Wolfgang put everything together, resulting in this layout in POP Magazine Issue 41 FW 2019 AS IT IS/WHEN IT WAS (Lutz Huelle, Alexandra Bircken, Wolfgang Tillmans).

Alex, Wolfgang and me have known each other since we were 15, they are my closest friends and a huge part of my life. I have no idea what my life would be like if we hadn’t met, and ever so grateful that we did.
