Previous Jop van Bennekom interviews Lutz in BUTT Magazine: ‘Lutz has been a familiar face to me for at least ten or twelve years. But I never knew who he really was, this guy that kept appearing as a model, and more often as a best friend, in lots of Wolfgang Tillmans’ pictures — until I met him a couple of years ago when he was starting up a fashion label under his own name in Paris. Last spring I sat down with Lutz Huelle, that’s his full name, in his spacious Paris apartment and office on the fancy Rue de Rivoli. We talked for hours and hours, and after sifting through the original 24,000-word transcript, this is what remained.’
